Refer a friend terms & conditions
The Locify refer a friend program rewards registered Locify members with Points for referring friends to Locify. To participate, Locify users must agree to these terms.
How to earn points(s)
- Locify users can earn Points if a referred friend completes their Locify registration and enters their referral code.
- To be eligible, referred members cannot be an existing Locify member. Referred friends must be completely new to Locify.
- Locify members can only have one Locify account and cannot refer themselves.
- The referring Locify Member will receive 50 Points from Locify when a new member completes their member registration using their refer a friend code.
- Points will only be awarded for the first 50 referrals that use the members referral code
- 50 Points will also be awarded to the new member that signed up using the code..
- Locify Points are subject to the Locify Member Terms and Conditions available on Locify.com.au.
Referring your friends
- Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes, and only shared with personal connections.
- Members can refer friends on personal social media accounts, excluding any site that is contributed to or is owned by someone else (e.g. Wikipedia and coupon websites).
- You are responsible to comply with all up-to-date “SPAM” laws. For example, emails must be created and distributed in a personal manner and bulk email distribution is prohibited. Any distribution of your referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam” under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate exclusion from the Locify Refer a Friend program.
Referred friends
- Referred friends must complete their registrationon the Locify website using your personal referral code.
- Eligible members that have signed up using your referral code will receive 50 points when their account is created.
- Locify Points are subject to the Locify Member Terms and Conditions available on Locify.com.au.
- New members are eligible to participate in the Refer a Friend promotion by referring their own friends.
Eligibility
- Participants of the referral program must be 18 years of age and older.
- Valid for residents of Australia only
Other terms and conditions
- Locify may suspend, change or terminate the referral program or a user’s ability to participate in the referral program at any time for any reason without notification.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts if we notice any activity that is deemed fraudulent or abuses the program.
- We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals (including Points balances) as we deem fair and appropriate. The Locify decision in all such matters is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Our Refer a Friend program uses our website privacy policy, member terms and conditions & business terms and conditions.
- To the extent permitted by law, these Locify Refer a Friend Program Terms shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be exclusively submitted to and dealt with by the competent court in QLD, Australia.
- By submitting an entry, you agree to be added to the Locify Pty Ltd database and consent to receiving general communication from time to time. Your details will never be shared with any third party.
